Test leaks with helium supply consist of a cylindrical stainless steel housing, which is filled with helium. In the inside is a diffusion leak, which is connected to a fitting over a lock valve.

A test leak without gas supply consists of a glass capillary (4), in a stainless steel housing (5). On the gas entrance (6) and the gas release (3) sinter filter protect the capillary of contamination.
